Mr. Camarda leads Camarda and Associates, LLC and brings over 40 years of cross functional maritime and transportation expertise in leadership roles spanning business planning, finance, operations, contracting, economic and trade analysis, new business development, and advisory. As a consultant he has been involved with developing private public partnerships, port privatization, port strategic and master planning, financial analysis, economic analysis, maritime new service development, US Flag and Jones Act analysis, and US Army Corps of Engineers dredge program approval processes.

Recently Mr. Camarda served as Director, Advisory for Seabury Maritime PFRA (SMPFRA). Prior to his affiliation with SMPFRA, he was Principal, Business Planning at Paul F Richardson Associates (PFRA).

Previous to his advisory experience, Mr. Camarda worked for ocean carriers including American Roll-On Roll-Off Carrier, Reefer Express Lines / Great American Lines, and Sea-Land Service. He has served as Director, Strategic Planning; GM, Planning & Vessel Operations; GM Port & Intermodal Operations/Contracting; Manager, Chartering; and Manager, Competitive Analysis and Marketing.

Mr. Camarda has led contracting negotiations and implementation spanning US Military Service Contracts, Charters (private and governmental), Insurance, Vessel Management, Agency, and Stevedoring.

Mr. Camarda holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from the United States Merchant Marine Academy (Kings Point), and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.), magna cum laude, in Finance from Seton Hall University. He is a member of the International Association of Maritime Economists (IAME)
