This also allowed me to become proficient in understanding and assisting to create WSOGs .

Served as DPO and SDPO depending on need at the time. Duties included, adherence to WSOG, DP Control, Safe Navigation, PMS control, Emergency response and managing tasks associated with well activities.

Key Achievements:

Transition of management and operations of Halter Marine shipyard from bankruptcy to VT Halter Marine, a $66M acquisition.
Built up a successful backlog and profitability from zero revenue to $1B in backlog within 5 years, from 2003 to 2008.
Managed the modification and completion of a series of two 350,000 BBL barge total value $100M.
Completed over 102 Ship Repair, Conversions and Life Cycle upgrades.

Shipyard Development:

New ship building and ship repairing facility plan and construction.

Key Achievements:

Developed the shipyard layout for VT Halter Marine Repair Operations.
Planned and constructed associated machine shop and ancillary shops.
Acquired, refurbish and made operational of 12,000 Tons Lift Capacity Floating Dock- total project value $40M.
Gap analysis consultancy of a shipyard in Saudi Arabia for increasing capability to construct naval vessels and sophisticated commercial vessels.
Lean manufacturing, KAIZEN continuous improvement technique implemented and conducted workshop.
Stream lined process of Shipyard new build and ship repair operations.
